Our needs for a boat include
- As much space as possible, we’ll be on the boat a lot. This makes Catamarans seem nice.
- Safe for ocean crossings
- Shallow draft (<5 feet) for the Bahamas (among other places)
- Beam less than 18′ (to fit into standard docks)
- Less than $200,000 (probably much less), so that we can afford it.
